In December of the previous year passenger turnover at Riga International Airport has dropped by 90.1 %, as compared to December 2019. The volume of cargo and post loaded and unloaded has increased by 4.6 %.

In November, the volume of freight arrivals at the airport increases, passenger turnover decreases
Passenger turnover at Riga Airport in November this year decreased by 90.9 % compared to November 2019. The total number of flights was 1 903, that is 70.1 % less. Total volume of arrivals and departures of freight and mail decreased by 4.5 %.
During the nine months drop is still observed in freight transport
In the nine months of 2020 compared to the nine months of 2019, freight carried in transport by land and pipeline has reduced by 19.7 %, but at ports – by 29.7 %.
Under the impact of Covid-19 still observed reduction in passenger traffic
In the nine months of 2020, compared to the nine months of 2019, passenger traffic by all modes of transport has fallen.

Passenger turnover at Riga International Airport in October of this year has dropped by 87.1 %, as compared to October 2019. Also the volume of cargoes loaded and unloaded and post has decreased by 9.5 %.
In September passenger turnover at airport continued to reduce, but the volume of cargo and post increased
Passenger turnover at Riga International Airport in September this year has dropped by 84.5 %, as compared to September 2019. In turn, the volume of cargo loaded and unloaded and post has increased by 6 %.
In August passenger turnover at airport was four times smaller than a year ago
Passenger turnover at Riga International Airport in August this year has dropped by 77 %, as compared to August 2019.
In the 1st half decrease recorded in freight transport both by land and by sea
In the 1st half of 2020 compared to the 1st half of 2019, freight carried in transport by land and pipeline has reduced by 18.1 %, but at ports – by 30.1 %.
The collection of statistics includes information on the length of roads, number of vehicles and transport activities broken down by the main mode of transport and covers the period from 2010 to 2019. The collection contains detailed information on the road freights that was acquired with the help of sample survey of lorries conducted in 2010–2019. Selected indicators are compared to other countries.
