In May 2020 actual unemployment rate in Latvia constituted 9.6 %, which is 0.4 percentage points more than in April.
A year after graduation of higher education institution four out of five graduates work
At the end of 2018, 81.4 % of graduates 2017 were employed, 2.9 % of graduates had registered unemployed status, but 8.2 % – were economically inactive.

In April 2020, slightly more than one fifth (22.0 %) of employees aged 15–74 years worked remotely¹.
