Perinatal mortality rate
A ratio of the number of stillbirths and deaths during the first week of life to the total number of live births and stillbirths. It is usually expressed per 1 000 births.
Neonatal mortality rate
The ratio of the number of deaths under 28 days of age to the number of live births. Usually expressed per 1 000 live births.
Infant mortality rate
Ratio of the number of deaths of children under one year of age to the number of live births in the corresponding period. The value is expressed per 1 000 live births
