On retail trade turnover in January 2010
Compared to December total retail trade turnover in January 2009 has increased by 4%, according to seasonally adjusted data (calculating at constant prices). Retail trade turnover in enterprises selling mainly food products grew by 1.7%. But in enterprises selling mainly non-food products retail trade turnover growth in January reached 5.3%

Compared to January 2009 in January of this year, according to working (trade) day adjusted data, calculating at constant prices, total retail trade turnover has decreased by 16%. Most notable volume decrease in January was recorded in food product group – by 16.2%. In retail trade enterprises selling mainly non-food products it reduced by 15.9%.
