Industrial production output in February 2011
In February 2011 industrial production output1 (at current prices) comprised LVL 347.9 million, according to the data of Central Statistical Bureau.

Compared to January 2011, industrial production volume in February 2011 has increased by 0.5%, according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices.Of which in manufacturing – by 1.5%, in electricity and gas supply - by 6.6%, but in mining and quarrying there was a decrease of 4.3%.
Compared to February of previous year, industrial production output in February 2011 at constant prices has grown by 9.6%, according to calendar adjusted data.Of which in manufacturing by 13.3%, in electricity and gas supply - by 20.3%, but in mining and quarrying there was a decrease of 21.7%.Most notable growth of industrial production was observed in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – 2.2 times, in manufacture of wearing apparel – 66.1%, in manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. – 46.9%.Most notable reduction of industrial production volume, in its turn, was observed in the manufacture of other transport equipment (building of ships and boats, manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock) – 40.5%, and in manufacture of chemicals and chemical products – 30.1%.
