On manufacturing turnover in January 2011
Compared to December 2010manufacturing turnover1at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data) in January 2011 has increased by 4.6%, of which in export - by 10.2% and in domestic market it reduced by 0.9%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.
But most significant turnover growth was recorded in manufacture of other transport equipment (building of ships and boats, manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock) – 54%, in manufacture of basic metals – 31.7% and in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – 25.1%.But most notable turnover reduction, in turn, was observed in manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment – 18.7%, in manufacture of rubber and plastic products – 9.8%, in manufacture of furniture – 6.2%.
Compared to January 2010,manufacturing turnover in January 2011, according to calendar adjusted2 data, hasincreased by 29.7%, of which in domestic market – by 10.9% and in export – by 51.8%.
