On manufacturing turnover in September 2009

Data of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) show that compared to August 2009 manufacturing turnover1 at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data2) in September 2009 has increased by 3.7%, of which in exports - by 8.9%, but in domestic market there was a reduction of 0.1%.

Compared to September 2008 industrial turnover in manufacturing (according to working day adjusted data) in September 2009 decreased by 29.2%, of which in domestic market – by 33.2% and in exports – by 23.8%.

Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2009 manufacturing turnover, according to seasonally adjusted data, in the 3rd quarter of 2009 decreased by 1.2%, of which in domestic market – by 5.1% and in exports there was an increase of 4.4%.

Compared to the corresponding quarter of previous year, industrial turnover in manufacturing in the 3rd quarter of 2009 decreased by 30.7% (according to working day adjusted data), of which in domestic market – by 32.3% and in exports – by 28.3%.

Compared to the same period of previous year, manufacturing turnover in January – September 2009 reduced by 29.2%, of which in domestic market – by 31.6% and in exports - by 27.1%.
