On manufacturing turnover in October 2010
Compared to September 2010 manufacturing turnover1 at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data2) in October 2010 has increased by 1.3%, of which in domestic market - by 6.7% and in export there was a reduction of 4.4%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.
Most notable turnover growth was recorded in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – by 46.1%, in manufacture of electrical equipment – by 10.3%, in manufacture of textiles – by 6.4% and in manufacture of furniture – by 6.2%. But reduction, in turn, was observed in manufacture of basic metals – by 32.1%, in manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products – by 16.5% and in manufacture of other transport equipment (building of ships and boats, manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock) – by 15.8%.
Compared to October 2009, manufacturing turnover according to working day adjusted3 data in October 2010 increased by 23.5%, of which in domestic market – by 23.4% and in export – by 23.6%.
