On manufacturing turnover in July 2010
Compared to June 2010 manufacturing turnover1 at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data2) in July 2010 has increased by 7.7%, of which in domestic market - by 3.7% and in export - by 12%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.
The most notable turnover growth was recorded in manufacture of basic metals – by 57.4%, in manufacturing of wearing apparel – by 12%, in manufacturing of beverages – by 11.6%. But the most significant turnover reduction, in turn, was observed in repair and installation of machinery and equipment (repair and maintenance of ships and boats, repair of fabricated metal products, machinery and equipment, installation of industrial machinery and equipment) – by 14.1%, in manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. – by 8.5%, in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – by 5%.
Compared to July 2009, manufacturing turnover according to working day adjusted3 data in July 2010 increased by 25.1%, of which in domestic market – by 7.2% and in export – by 52.2%.
