Compared to April 2010 manufacturing turnover1 at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data2) in May 2010 has increased by 2.3%, of which in domestic market - by 3.1% and in export - by 1.4%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.
Most notable turnover growth was observed in n manufacture of chemicals and chemical products – 38.8%, in manufacture of textiles – 15.3% and in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – 10.2%. But most significant turnover reduction, in turn, was observed in manufacture of other transport equipment (building of ships and boats, manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock) – 21.5%, in manufacture of basic metals – 5.2% and in publishing, printing and reproduction of recorded media.
Compared to May 2009, manufacturing turnover according to working day adjusted3 data in May 2010 grew by 10.9%, of which in export by 34.2% and in domestic market there was a reduction of 4.5%.
