Volume index of industrial production is one of the key indicators characterising development of industrial sector. It measures changes in the industrial production output over time and is influenced by changes in industrial output volume and prices.

Compared to October 2018, in October 2019 industrial production output increased by 3 % (according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices). Output rise in manufacturing constituted 1.8 %, in electricity and gas supply 11.9 %, while in mining and quarrying there was a drop of 19.6 %.
Manufacturing output grew by 3.1 % in September
Compared to September 2018, in September 2019 industrial production output grew by 7.3 % (according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices).
