The collection of statistics contains climate change statistics – greenhouse gas emissions, consumption of energy resources, natural resources and consumption thereof (material flows, resource productivity, forestry, fishing, hunting, and waste management), and environmental protection expenditure as well as environmental quality (air pollution and quality).

In 2018, the average forest regeneration costs in Latvia comprised 509–669 EUR/ha, depending on the forest land quality group.
