In May 2018 foreign trade turnover of Latvia amounted to EUR 2.32 billion, at current prices constituting 9.6 % more than in May 2017, of which exports value of goods rose by 8.5 % and imports value of goods by 10.4 %.
During the year, the average level of consumer prices increased by 2.8 %
In June 2018, compared to June 2017, the average level of consumer prices* rose by 2.8 %. Prices of goods increased by 2.5 % and prices of services grew by 3.3 %.
In May, industrial production output dropped by 1.1 %

In May, retail trade turnover grew by 7 %
Calendar adjusted data (at constant prices) compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau show that, compared to May 2017, in May 2018 total retail trade turnover rose by 7 %.
In 2017, forest regeneration cost kept declining, while tending costs growing
