Absolute liquidity
Absolute liquidity ratio shows the share of current liabilities the company can cover in the closest future.
Accident at work
Accident at work is exceptional occurrence that took place during one working day or a shift, after which health disorders are caused to a person, or there is probability that health disorders might occur (risk of infection), or death of person involved occurred.
Accrued-to-date pensions entitlements (pension scheme liabilities)
Accrued pension entitlements are equivalent to pension schemes` liabilities.
Accrued-to-date pension liabilities include: already accrued part of future pension rights of current working age population at the time of reporting, which have arisen from contributions already paid in previous years; as well as remaining next years` pension payments for already retired population.

Non-financial non-produced assets consist of land and other tangible non-produced assets that may be used in the production of goods and services, and intangible non-produced assets.Active population [Labour force survey]
Active population consists of persons who in the reference period offered their work for the production of goods and services.
Active population consists of employed persons and unemployed persons actively seeking a job (both those who are registered with the State Employment Agency and those who are not).
Information on labour status (incl. employment) in Labour Force Survey of Latvia in line with the methodology is acquired from persons aged 15–74. To ensure that data are internationally comparable, part of employment indicators are calculated also on age group 15–64. Internationally, age 15–64 years is working age, and it is used by Statistical Office of European Union (Eurostat) and International Labour Organisation (ILO), thus key economic indicators are published on two age groups: 15–64 years and 15–74 years.
Active population [Population Census]
Persons (aged 15 or older on 1 March 2011) who during the reference period offered their work for the production of goods and provision of services.
Active population consists of employed persons and non-working persons actively seeking a job (both those who are registered with the State Employment Agency and those who are not).
Active substances
Substances (also microorganisms) having general or specific effect on harmful organisms or plants, parts or products thereof.
Activity
Activity ratio shows how efficiently the company uses resources in its disposal.
In the event the company has too many assets, any further investments in the assets are unnecessary. In its turn, if there is a shortage of assets, it might imply that the company operates inefficiently.
