Population - Key Indicators

Information on population number has been acquired by compiling and analysing the population and registered migration data of the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs, as well as Civil Registry data on births and deaths. Number of population in 2011 in breakdown by months has been recalculated in compliance with the provisional results of the Population and Housing Census 2011, considering only migration registered officially. All re-calculations of the population number in 2001–2012 will be made after the publication of the Population and Housing Census 2011 final results. Number of population in 2011 in breakdown by months, considering the estimates of non-registered emigration, will be recalculated in the 3^rd quarter of 2012. Re-calculation of 2012 will be started at the beginning of 2013.Population number in 2001 – 2011 will be re-calculated after the publication of the Population and Housing Census 2011 final results.
