Data are characterising average purchase prices of agricultural products and price change indices, compared to the base year.

Definitions

Average agreement price for which slaughterhouses acknowledged by Food and Veterinary Service (FVS) purchase livestock and poultry from breeders in Latvia.

The mean agreed price at which processing and procurement enterprises and businesses are purchasing grain, pulses and rape from agricultural holdings during the corresponding time period.

Purchase price of milk is average agreement price for which milk procurement and processing enterprises purchase fresh milk from milk producers in Latvia.

The indices characterise changes in agricultural product prices taking place during a certain time period over a base period – year 2010. Total agricultural output price is estimated considering average weighted prices of separate products, using estimates of the Economic Accounts for Agriculture on the base year as the weights.
