Data of the Central Statistical Bureau show that, compared to September, total retail trade turnover in October 2012 reduced by 1.4%, according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices. Retail trade in food products diminished by 0.5%, while decrease in non-food product retail trade comprised 1.8%.
In comparison with the month before, total retail trade turnover at current prices, not considering the seasonality, in October of this year rose by 0.6%.

Compared to October 2011, total retail trade turnover in October 2012 rose by 9.2%, according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices. Rise in food commodity group comprised 1.4%,while retail trade in non-food products increased by 12.7%, of which retail sale of automotive fuel - by 12.4%.
In comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year, total retail trade turnover at current prices rose by 9.8% (not taking into account the calendar influence).
