Data of Central Statistical Bureau show that, compared to April, total retail trade turnover in May 2012 has grown by 2.1% (according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices). Retail sale of food has increased by 3.1%, whereas retail trade in non-food product has risen by 1.6%.
In comparison with the month before, total retail trade turnover at current prices in May of this year has grown by 7.6% (not considering the seasonality).

Compared to May 2011, total retail trade turnover in May 2012 has risen by 7.4%, according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices. Rise in food commodity group comprises 4.9%, while retail trade in non-food products has increased by 8.6%, of which retail sale of automotive fuel - by 3.3%.
In comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year, total retail trade turnover at current prices has risen by 8.1% (not taking into account the calendar influence).
