Compared to February, total retail trade turnover (according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices) in March 2011 grew by 0.6%, according to the data of Central Statistical Bureau.Retail trade of food products has increased by 0.8%, but retail trade of non-food products has grown by 0.4%, excluding the retail trade of automotive fuel - by 0.7%.

Compared to March 2010, total retail trade turnover in March of this year according to calendar1 adjusted data, calculating at constant prices, has risen by 1.3%.More notable growth still was recorded in non-food product group – of 2.9%.Excluding automotive fuel the retail trade of non-food products has grown by 6.1%.Retail trade of food products has reduced by 1.4 %.

Compared to the 4th quarter of 2010 retail trade turnover in the 1st quarter of 2011 reduced by 1.6%, according to seasonally adjusted data (at constant prices), of which in enterprises selling mainly food products by 0.2%, but in enterprises selling mainly non-food products – by 2.3%.
In comparison with the 1st quarter of 2010, according to calendar adjusted data the turnover has grown by 1.7%.Retail trade in enterprises selling mainly food products has increased by 3.4%, but in companies selling mainly non-food products it has decreased by 1.4%.
