Retail trade turnover in January 2012
Compared to December 2011, the total retail trade turnover in January 2012 increased by 6.4%, according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices (by unadjusted data at current prices the turnover decreased by 17.1%), according to provisional data of the Central Statistical Bureau. Retail trade in non-food products grew by 9.6%, whereas retail trade in food product group did not change.

Compared to January 2011, the total retail trade turnover in January 2012 increased by 16.6% according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices. Retail trade in food products increased by 4.6%. In its turn, retail trade in non-food product group grew by 23%.
