Compared to December 2011, the total retail trade turnover in January 2012 increased by 6.4%, according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices (by unadjusted data at current prices the turnover decreased by 17.1%), according to provisional data of the Central Statistical Bureau. Retail trade in non-food products grew by 9.6%, whereas retail trade in food product group did not change.
