Retail trade turnover in February 2011

Compared to January, total retail trade turnover (according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices) in February 2011 has grown by 1.5%, according to the data of Central Statistical Bureau.Retail trade of food products has increased by 0.3%, but retail trade of non-food products has grown by 2.2% - mainly because of the retail trade rise of automotive fuel (of 8%).

Compared to February 2010, total retail trade turnover in February of this year according to calendar [i] adjusted data, calculating at constant prices, has risen by 3.6%.More notable growth still was recorded in non-food product group – of 6.1%.Excluding automotive fuel the retail trade of non-food products has grown by 10.3%.Retail trade of food products has reduced by 0.9 %.
