Compared to July, the total retail trade turnover (according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices) in August 2011 has grown by 1.6%, according to the data of Central Statistical Bureau. Retail trade in food products has decreased by 1.2%, but retail trade in non-food products has grown by 3%. Retail trade in non-food products (excluding automotive fuel) has increased by 3.4%.
In comparison with July, total retail trade turnover in August (not considering the seasonality) at current prices has risen by 3.5%.

Compared to August 2010, the total retail trade turnover in August 2011 has grown by 7.4%, according to calendar adjusted data (calculating at constant prices). In food commodity group an increase of 2% was observed, but retail trade of non-food products has grown by 10.1% (excluding retail sale of automotive fuel – by 18.7%).
In comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year, the total retail trade turnover at current prices (not considering the calendar influence) has increased by 12.3%.
