Retail trade turnover in August 2010

Compared to July, total retail trade turnover (according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices) in August 2010 grew by 1%, according to the data of Central Statistical Bureau. Retail trade of non-food products has increased by 1.6%, but retail trade of food products has reduced by 0.1%.

Compared to August 2009 total retail trade turnover in August of this year has increased by 4.6%, according to working (trade) day adjusted data, calculating at constant prices. Notable growth was recorded in non-food product group – of 7.7%. Retail trade of food products reduced by 1.2 %.
