Retail trade turnover in April 2010

Compared to March, total retail trade turnover (according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices) in April of this year reduced by 0.4%, according to the data of Central Statistical Bureau. Retail trade turnover in enterprises selling mainly food products reduced by 1.6%. But in retail trade enterprises selling mainly non-food products it grew by 0.3%.

Compared to April 2009 total retail trade turnover in April of this year has decreased by 7.6%, according to working (trade) day adjusted data, calculating at constant prices. Most notable volume decrease in April was recorded in food product group – by 9.1%. Retail trade of non-food products reduced by 6.8%.
