In November slight decrease on producer prices in industry; over a year increase of 1.2%

Compared to October, the overall level of producer prices in Latvian industry in November 2013 reduced by 0.2%, according to the data of Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia. The producer prices of products sold on the domestic market remained the same, whereas prices of exported products dropped by 0.3%. Price fall in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, as well as in manufacture of wood and of products of wood, except furniture had the greatest downward impact.

In November 2013, the overall level of producer prices in Latvian industry, compared to November of previous year, increased by 1.2%. Prices of products sold on the domestic market grew by 0.1%, but prices of exported products – by 2.4%. Major price increases were observed in the manufacture of wood and of products of wood, except furniture and in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply.
