In March retail trade turnover increases by 2.1%
Data of Central Statistical Bureau show that, compared to February, total retail trade turnover in March 2013 grew by 2.1%, according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices. Retail trade in food products increased by 2.4%, whereas retail sale of non-food products – by 1.9%.
In comparison with February, total retail trade turnover at current prices, not considering the seasonality, in February of this year grew by 11.4%.In March 2012 rise increased by 9.7%, as compared to February 2012.

Compared to March 2012, total retail trade turnover in March of this year increased by 8.8%, according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices. Rise in food commodity group comprised 8.2%, while retail trade in non-food products increased by 9.2%, of which retail sale of automotive fuel - by 17.6 %.
In comparison with March of the previous year, total retail trade turnover at current prices rose by 7.0% (not taking into account the calendar influence).

Compared to the last quarter of last year retail trade turnover in the first quarter of this year increased by 2.5%, according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices. Retail trade in food products rose by 3.2%, whereas retail sale of non-food products – by 2.0%.
Compared to the first quarter of last year, in the first quarter of this year turnover increased by 7.2%, according to calendar adjusted data. Rise in food commodity group comprised 5.5%, but retail trade in non-food products increased by 8.3%.
