On manufacturing turnover in September 2011

Compared to August 2011, manufacturing turnover1 at current prices, according to seasonally adjusted data, in September 2011 has increased by 2.4%, of which in export - by 6%, but in domestic market it has reduced by 0.9%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau. The most notable growth was recorded in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – of 55.5% (rise in domestic market 2.2 times, but in export of 50.9%), in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – of 16.7% (increase in domestic market and in export), and in repair and installation of machinery and equipment – of 14.1% (growth in domestic market of 13.8%, and of 16.4% in export).

Compared to September 2010, manufacturing turnover in September 2011, according to calendar adjusted data, has increased by 11.4%, of which in domestic market – by 11.8% and in export – by 11.1%. Significant rise was observed in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – of 83.2% (increase in export, but domestic market witnessed reduction), in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – of 73% (growth in both domestic market and export), and in manufacture of electrical equipment – of 56.5% (rise in both domestic market and export).

Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2011, manufacturing turnover in the 3rd quarter of 2011, according to seasonally adjusted data, has increased by 3.5%, of which in domestic market – by 5.8% and in export – by 1.2%.

Compared to the corresponding quarter of previous year, manufacturing turnover in the 3rd quarter of 2011, according to calendar adjusted data, has risen by 11.8%, of which in domestic market – by 15.2% and in export – by 8.1%.

Compared to the corresponding period of previous year, manufacturing turnover in nine months of 2011, according to calendar adjusted data, has grown by 18.4%, of which in domestic market – by 15.4% and in export – by 21.5%.
