Compared to October 2011, manufacturing turnover1 at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data) in November 2011 has increased by 1.9%, of which in domestic market - by 3% and in export - by 0.9%, in accordance with the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.
The most notable turnover increase was observed in manufacture of chemicals and chemical products – of 53.4% (11.6% in domestic market and 75.3% in export), in manufacture of wearing apparel – of 11.2% (23.3% in domestic market and 7.3% in export), and in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations - of 12% (rise in both domestic market and export). Whereas the most significant reduction was recorded in manufacture of other transport equipment – of 43.4% (decrease in both domestic market and export), in manufacture of rubber and plastic products – of 6% (increase of 0.5% in domestic market, but 10.1% drop in export), and in manufacture paper and paper products – of 5.9% (10.1% reduction in domestic market and 0.9% in export).
Compared to November 2010 manufacturing turnover at current prices (according to calendar adjusted data) in November 2011 has increased by 17.5%, of which in domestic market - by 11.3% and in export - by 24.5%. The rise in manufacturing turnover was mainly due to the growth in divisions of manufacture of fabricated metal products and manufacture of machinery and equipment.
The rise in manufacture of machinery and equipment comprised 69.2% (58.5% rise in domestic market, and 74% in export), in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – 68.5% (increase 3.3 times in domestic market and 58.8% in export), in manufacture of electrical equipment – 50.5% (57% in domestic market and 47.6% in export), and in manufacture of fabricated metal products – 35.7% (15.3% in domestic market and 61.9% in export).
Significant turnover growth since the beginning of the year was still recorded in both largest manufacturing divisions - manufacture of food products and wood-processing.
