Data of the Central Statistical Bureau show that compared to October 2010 manufacturing turnover1 at current prices according to seasonally adjusted data2 in November 2010 has decreased by 3.3%, of which in domestic market - by 3.4% and in export – by 3.1%.
The most notable turnover reduction was in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – by 24.6%, in manufacture of metals – by 12.8%, in manufacture of other transport equipment (building of ships and boats, manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock) – by 10.6%. In turn, the greatest turnover growth was recorded in manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products – by 15.6%, in manufacture of beverages – by 8.7%, in printing and reproduction of recorded media – by 8%.
Compared to November 2009, manufacturing turnover according to working day adjusted3 data, in November 2010 increased by 18.5%, of which in domestic market – by 16.8% and in export – by 20.4%.
