On manufacturing turnover in March 2010

Compared to February 2010 manufacturing turnover1 at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data2) in March 2010 has increased by 6%, of which in export - by 6.7% and in domestic market - by 5.4%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.

Compared to March 2009, manufacturing turnover according to working day adjusted3 data in March 2010 grew by 6.7%, of which in export by 22.9% and in domestic market there was a reduction of 5.5%.

Compared to the 4th quarter of 2009 manufacturing turnover, according to seasonally adjusted data, in the 1st quarter of 2010 decreased by 0.5%, of which in domestic market – by 1.2% and in export there was an increase of 0.3%.

Compared to the corresponding quarter of previous year, manufacturing turnover in the 1st quarter of 2010 diminished by 0.4% (according to working day adjusted data), of which in domestic market – by 10.4% and in exports there was a growth of 13.3%.
