On manufacturing turnover in July 2011


Compared to June 2011, manufacturing turnover1 at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data) in July 2011 has increased by 1.4%, of which in the domestic market - by 1.9% and in export - by 1%, according to data of the Central Statistical Bureau. The most notable increase was recorded in repair and installation of machinery and equipment – of 20.2% (increase in both – the domestic market and export of 21.7% and 6.7%, respectively), in manufacture of wearing apparel - of 13.2% (in the domestic market of 18.4% and in export of 11.6%), in manufacture of electrical equipment – of 9.7% (in the domestic market – of 1.3%, in export – of 13.9%).

Compared to July 2010, manufacturing turnover in July 2011, according to calendar adjusted data, has increased by 13.1%, of which in the domestic market – by 16.9% and in export – by 9%. Manufacturing turnover increase was affected by growth of 14.2% in manufacture of food products (in the domestic market – by 7.5%, in export – by 40.7%). Significant rise was observed also in the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers by 70.1% (in the domestic market the rise of 1.3 times, in export – by 68.1%), in manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products – by 53.6% (in the domestic market – by 67.5%, in export – by 37.3%), in manufacture of machinery and equipment – by 42.6% (in the domestic market – by 64.3%, in export – by 32.4%).
