Compared to March 2011, manufacturing turnover1 at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data) in April 2011 has increased by 1.9%, of which in domestic market - by 1.2% and in export - by 2.6%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.
The most notable turnover growth was recorded in manufacture of electrical equipment - 16.5%, in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – 11.6% and in manufacture of paper and paper products - 7.4%.Most notable decrease, in turn, was observed in manufacture of basic metals – 29.2%, in manufacture of machinery and equipment – 11.1%, and in manufacture of chemicals and chemical products – 10%.
Compared to April 2010, manufacturing turnover in April 2011, according to calendar adjusted2 data, has increased by 21.5%, of which in domestic market – by 18.4% and in export – by 24.5%.
