Compared to March 2010 manufacturing turnover1 at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data2) in April 2010 has increased by 0.2%, of which in export - by 4.5% and in domestic market it reduced by 3.7%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.
The most notable turnover growth was recorded in manufacture of electrical equipment – 16%, in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – 14.1%, in manufacture of non-metallic mineral products – 13.3%. But most significant turnover reduction, in turn, was observed in manufacture of other transport equipment (building of ships and boats, manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock) – 26.8%, in manufacture of wearing apparel – 7% (in domestic market – 11.7%, in export – 5.1%).
Compared to April 2009, manufacturing turnover according to working day adjusted3 data in April 2010 grew by 5.7%, of which in export - by 29.3% and in domestic market there was a reduction of 11.1%.
