On manufacturing turnover in 2011

According to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau, manufacturing turnover1 in 2011, if compared to 2010,  increased by 16.8% (according to calendar adjusted data at current prices), of which in domestic market - by 13.3% and in export - by 20.4%. Significant growth was recorded in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – of 54.4% (rise in domestic market of 53.3% and of 54.5% in export), in manufacture of machinery and equipment – of 52.5% (increase in domestic market of 50.7%, and of 53.4% in export), and in manufacture of electrical equipment – of 40.7% (growth in domestic market of 26.7% and of 48.8% in export).

Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2011, manufacturing turnoverin the 4th quarter of 2011 increased by 1.5% (according to seasonally adjusted data), of which in export – by 1.2%, whereas in domestic market there was a decrease of 3.6%.

Compared to the corresponding quarter of previous year, manufacturing turnover in the 4th quarter of 2011 rose by 12.4% (according to calendar adjusted data), of which in domestic market – by 7.8% and in export – by 17.6%.

Compared to November 2011, manufacturing turnover in December 2011 decreased by 4.8% (according to seasonally adjusted data), of which in domestic market – by 5.7% and in export – by 3.9%.

Compared to December 2010, manufacturing turnover in December 2011 increased by 9.3% (according to calendar adjusted data), of which in domestic market – by 8.2% and in export – by 10.5%.
