In June, 1.3% increase in manufacturing turnover

Compared to the May of this year, manufacturing turnover1 (according to seasonally adjusted data at current prices) in June 2013 has grown by 1.3%, of which by 0.8% in domestic market and by 1.9% in export.

As compared to the previous month, the most notable turnover increase was recorded in manufacture of other transport equipment (building of ships and boats, manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock) – of 71.4% (significant rise in export, while drop in domestic market), in manufacture of machinery and equipment – of 17.5% (increase in both markets), and in manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products – of 8.6% (growth in both markets).

Compared to June 2012, turnover in manufacturing (according to calendar adjusted data) has gone up by 4.2%; the rise was mainly influenced by the domestic market – growth of 9%, while in export there was a reduction of 1.6%.

In comparison with June of the previous year, the most significant turnover growth was observed in manufacture of other transport equipment (building of ships and boats, manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock) – 3.8 times (rise in export, while reduction in domestic market), in manufacture of machinery and equipment – of 38.7% (increase in domestic market and drop in export), and printing and reproduction of recorded media – of 23.6% (growth in both markets). Turnover increase in both domestic market and export was recorded also in sectors having the largest share: manufacture of food products (of 9.5%) and wood processing (of 5.8%).

Compared to the 1st quarter of 2013, manufacturing turnoverin the 2nd quarter of 2013 (according to seasonally adjusted data) has reduced by 1.9%, of which by 4.8% in export, while in domestic market there was an increase of 0.4%.

Compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, manufacturing turnover (according to calendar adjusted data) in the 2nd quarter of 2013 hasrisen by 0.2%, of which by 3.6% in domestic market, whereas in export there was a drop of 3.7%.

Compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, manufacturing turnover (according to calendar adjusted data) in the 1st half of 2013 hasgrown by 2.3%, of which by 3.6% in domestic market and by 0.7% in export.
