Industrial production output in November 2011
In November 2011 industrial production output1 (at current prices) comprised LVL 419.3 million, according to the data of Central Statistical Bureau.

In comparison with October 2011, industrial production output in November 2011 (according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices) has increased by 0.9%, of which in manufacturing – by 3.2%, in mining and quarrying – by 0.8% and in electricity and gas supply there was a reduction of 1.6%.
Compared to November a year before, industrial production output in November 2011 (according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices) has grown by 8.5%. Of which in mining and quarrying – by 18.2%, in manufacturing - by 12.1%, but in electricity and gas supply there was a decrease of 3%. The increase in manufacturing mainly was influenced by two largest sub-sectors - woodprocessing and metalworking.
The most notable growth of industrial production in manufacturing was observed in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – of 78.9%, in manufacture of electrical equipment – of 51.1%, and in manufacture of fabricated metal products – 36.5%. But most significant reduction, in turn, was recorded in manufacture of basic metals – of 20.1%, in printing and reproduction of recorded media - of 9.4%, and in manufacture of paper and paper products - of 8.6%.
