On Flash Estimate of Gross Domestic Product in the 3rd quarter of 2012
Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2011, volume of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the 3rd quarter of 2012 has increased by 5.3%, according to the flash estimate of the CSB. The growth in industry and in trade of 7% as well as of 8% in construction had significant positive effect on the GDP. During this quarter, rise was recorded in almost all sections of the services sector; moreover 7% more taxes on products were levied.
Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2012, GDP in the 3rd quarter of 2012 has risen by 1.7%, according to seasonally adjusted data.
More precise and extended rate and volume of the GDP in the 3rd quarter of 2012 will be published in the press release of 7 December 2012.
