Compared to April, the turnover of retail trade in current pricesin May of this year has slightly increased by 6.5%, while, compared to May 2005, it has increased by 20.8%.

In January-May 2006, compared to January-May 2005, the turnover of retail trade enterprises has grown by 16.5%.

Compared to April, retail trade turnover in current prices of enterprises the main activity of which is sale of motor vehicles, motorcycles, parts and accessories thereof slightly increased in May 2006 by 12.1%, while, compared to May of the previous year, it has increased by 64.7%, of which the increase in the sales turnover of motor vehicles was 79.5%.

Compared to January-May 2005, sales turnover of motor vehicles, motorcycles, parts and accessories thereof increased in January-May 2006 by 70.1%.

Compared to May 2005, retail trade turnover in current prices of enterprises selling automotive fuel in May of this year rose by 24.1%. Compared to the corresponding period of 2005, retail trade turnover of enterprises selling automotive fuel in January-May 2006 increased by 34.4%.

Compared to April 2006, the turnover in current prices of catering enterprises has increased in May 2006 by 14.4%, and by 20.6% in comparison with the corresponding period of 2005.
