Domestic trade in July 2006

The data of Central Statistical Bureau show that in July of this year, in comparison with the preceding month, the turnover of retail trade enterprises(calculated in comparable prices) has increased by 2.0%, but, compared to July 2005, it has increased by 18.7%.

In January-July of 2006, in comparison with January-July 2005, the turnover of retail trade enterprises has increased by 17.5%.

Compared to June 2006, retail trade turnover of enterprises, the main activity of which is the sale of motor vehicles, motorcycles and parts and accessories thereof decreased in July 2006 by 9.8%, but compared to July of the previous year, it has increased by 58.8%, of which the increase in the sales turnover of motor vehicles was 81.3%.

In January-July 2006, compared to January-July 2005, sales turnover of motor vehicles, motorcycles and parts and accessories thereof increased by 70.7%.

Tthe turnover of automotive fuel retail sale enterprises in July of this year, in comparison with July 2005, increased by 16.1% in comparable prices. In January-July 2006, compared to the corresponding period of 2005, the retail trade turnover of enterprises selling automotive fuel increased by 23.4%.

The turnover of catering enterprises in July 2006, in comparison with June 2006 (in comparable prices), has increased by 13.4%, and, in comparison withn the corresponding period of 2005, it has increased by 13.0%.
