Consumer price level in November 2006

The average level of consumer prices increased in November 2006 in comparison with October 2006 by 1.0%. The prices of goods rose by 1.1%, while those of services by 0.6%.

The most influence on changes of consumption prices had the increase of prices of food products, heat energy, as well as the decrease of fuel prices.

The increase of food product prices was mainly determined by increase of prices for vegetables, bread, cereal products, fresh meat.

The price of heat energy continued to increase in November. More expensive became dwelling maintenance and repair services, waste collection, apartment rent price, materials for maintenance and repair of dwelling, as well as solid fuel.

The prices for fuel, tobacco, as well as charges for telecommunications services continued to decrease in November.

In comparison with November of the previous year, consumer prices increased by 6.4%, including by 6.0% for goods, and 7.5% for services.
