In the 2nd half of 2014 the greatest price growth was recorded for highest class veneer logs

08.04.2015

According to the latest data of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) on average round timber prices, compared to the 1st half of 2014 prices of category A birch veneer logs in the 2nd half of 2014 increased by 13% or 11.7 euros/m3 without VAT. The notable growth in the purchase prices of veneer logs can be explained with the increasing demand for this type of timber in production of birch plywood, sawn timber and furniture.
