In 11 months retail trade turnover increased by 5.2%
Calendar adjusted data at constant prices compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) show that compared to the corresponding period of 2014 in 11 months of 2015 retail trade turnover rose by 5.2%.
Compared to October the total retail trade turnover in November 2015 reduced by 3.2%, according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices. Retail trade in food products declined by 1.0%, and turnover of non-food products – by 4.6%. The largest turnover drop was observed in sales of automotive fuel – by 13.3%. Retail trade turnover, excluding sales of automotive fuel, reduced by 1.0%.
Compared to October, the total retail trade turnover at current prices, not taking into account seasonality, in November decreased by 10.0%. A year ago – in November 2014, compared to October – turnover declined by 6.7%.

Compared to November 2014, the total retail trade turnover in November 2015 decreased by 0.7%, according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices. In food commodity group it grew by 2.6%. In non-food commodity group it decreased by 2.8%. Drop of turnover was mostly affected by reduction of sales of automotive fuel by 11.6%. It was determined by rapid increase of retail trade of fuel in autumn 2014 which was related to fall of oil prices in the world.
Total retail trade turnover, excluding sales of automotive fuel, grew by 1.7%.
Total retail trade turnover at current prices decreased by 2.8% (not taking into account the calendar influence).
