Compared to July 2010 manufacturing turnover1 at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data2) in August 2010 has increased by 0.7%, of which in domestic market - by 1% and in export - by 0.4%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.
Most notable growth of turnover was observed in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – 44.4%, in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – 30.8%, in manufacture of basic metals – 15.1%. But most significant turnover reduction, in turn, was recorded in manufacture of other transport equipment (building of ships and boats, manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock) – 29.9%, in manufacture of beverages – 12.2% and in manufacture of textiles – 5.1%.
Compared to August 2009, manufacturing turnover according to working day adjusted3 data in August 2010 increased by 23.3%, of which in domestic market – by 8% and in export – by 44.7%.
