SEARCH in databases

Instalation of additional software

To use the Internet databases you do not have to install additional software.

But if you want to use additional opportunities (creation of graphics, cartographic images), you have to download and install PC-Axis, PX-Map (for Windows95/ME/2000/XP) software and Latvia map templates ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 ), which have to be saved in the folder C:ProgramFilesPX-MapMaps.

The PX-MAP version, which can be installed on Windows98, you can download here..

Software installation

Click on relevant link and choose ‘’Run this program from its current location’’, then to the question ‘’Do you want to install and run ‘pcasetup.EXE from data.csb.lv’?’’ answer ‘’Yes’’ and begin installation.

Download of Latvia map templates

Click on each link (1-6) and choose ‘’Save this file to disc’’. Then show that the fails have to be saved in the folder C:ProgramFilesPX-MapMaps.
